Description

This cozy and nutty Hojicha Latte brings roasted green tea flavor into a creamy, comforting drink. It’s the perfect caffeine-light sip for relaxing evenings or peaceful mornings.

Ingredients

1 tsp hojicha powder or 1 tbsp loose-leaf hojicha

½ cup water (hot, not boiling)

¾ cup milk (dairy or plant-based)

Optional: maple syrup or raw honey for sweetness

Instructions

1. If using loose-leaf hojicha, steep in hot water for 2–3 minutes, then strain.

2. If using powder, whisk it with hot water until frothy.

3. Warm milk in a saucepan (don’t boil), or use a frother.

4. Pour tea into a mug, then gently mix in the warm milk.

5. Sweeten to taste and enjoy.

Notes

Loose-leaf hojicha offers a deeper roasted flavor, while powder blends smoothly.

Use oat milk or almond milk for a plant-based version.
